Winter Revamp

Winter around the Marsh usually results in us taking on an inside project. This year it is a bedroom.

The bedroom had old wallpaper, and incomplete drywalling from probably 30 years ago. Pictures will follow, but just know that wood corner molding was used to cover the ceiling drywall joint - vs. - the use of tape & joint compound. Resulting in significant air flow, mostly important during the Winter due to cost of heating - but a bit of an issue with hot attic air pushing down through those same openings.

So dusty dirty age old carpet and 3/8" plywood removed, wallpaper steamed off (Thanks Andy & Linda for more steamer usage), and onward to foaming joints at window and filling in the drywall with proper joint compound & tape (I use the fiber mesh).
