Is this where we are? Death for $$
I read about the Walmart employee trampled to death on Friday. I was astounded by the actions of the people in line.
Really now! This guy comes to work that day, probably saying - wow, a really busy day ahead - figured he would do his 8, 10, or 12 hours and then go home to his family. Maybe eat a bit more turkey.
NOPE... it was his turn to die by crowd...
This happened a long time ago. Some of you may have remembered it. Some may have been there. Cincinnati. The WHO Concert. Yes, that's right. General admission seating results in crowd pushing/trampling/killing people just so they could get closer to the show.
The Marsh info describes: Humans claim to be the smartest inhabitants of the planet. The actions by people such as these, prove once more - WE aren't!
Every day you go away from your family... it could be your last! The people at the front of the line or you there... number 10, 15, or 20 back... IT'S ON YOU DUDE or DUDET. Everyone in line pushing those ahead of them - thinking it will really help get you that one step closer to that glorious purchase - you are JUST PLAIN WRONG!
It's not just in line at WalMart folks! It's every day on the expressway, pushing just one, five, or ten MPH more over the speed limit. Rush up to the red lights ahead... Do you think it is going to really help - with all the traffic ahead? NO... you just increase the chance of crashes (not accidents, CRASHES caused by you).
Jeezzz folks. Come on! Death by Crowd... really now! Everyone at that store that day ought to show up at his funeral and say a prayer. Then say your sorry to the family. Then look at your own family and promise to them that you will NEVER let this happen again!
