A little snow blowin' we will go

picture of John snow blowing off north driveway

Saturday's storm didn't turn out as bad as predicted for my locale. Places west of here got more... but as the pic shows we got a fairly consistent 7 inches, with some drifts to 10" of snow.

My 'machine' is 8 years old now - bought it after big storm in '00 (e.g. gifted us with > 2 feet, after 20 straight days of couple inches a day). I shoveled for the first 5 years here (I was younger then... hee hee). At the time of the picture it was 19 degrees (F scale, for those outside U.S.), but no wind, so fairly nice.

This snow is great for the winter tourist industry. Hope the economy keeps them afloat.
