It's All About YOU!

Saturday April 21st - designers & developers will be gathering again. Why?

The Annual Kalamazoo X Conference - THE conference in the Mid-West that is all about you... is blooming in beautiful Southwest Michigan. The Kalamazoo X Conference brings in speakers and sparks extremely interesting discussions which enhance 'the person' vs. a particular developer or designer skill.

Talks on: How to work with people. How to make a career plan. What is Kanban. - are just a few from past years. Go to the website to see what's on tap this year!

Don't miss out. Great information & Great networking don't happen in front of your TV. Come on out to the Kalamazoo X Conference and improve yourself.

BTW - The Kalamazoo X Conference is run as a non-profit. If you have the ability, please donate. Conferences like the Kalamazoo X Conference "don't just happen" - there's hard work involved, time and money is always in short supply. Participate in your community!

Sounds of the Marsh

The Marsh - the Spring of 2012 has been the most vocally active since we've been here (>16 yrs now). I recorded about a minute of what we've been hearing each night, for the last week (plus).

Spring

Spring has arrived. I know this not by what the calendar says, but by the activity here at the Marsh.

Creatures small and large increasing activity. The sound of the frogs and crickets and birds has been nearly deafening. Folks who drive by have commented they could hear nature, even with windows "up".

Still a bit early to plant most things - but I will put in beans and peas very soon. They are cold tolerant. Mostly it will just be yard clean up - fallen branches, that kind of thing.

Enjoy
