Winter 2014 - The Uncovering

As the Winter 2013-2014 draws to a close, the snow blanket draws back and displays what has been hidden for 4 months. This winter was an old style winter, where the we did not have a storm with intermittent melting. Once the snows started, the snow stuck and just piled up.

My last post - Winter 2014 - Snowy Year shows pictures of the snow cover.

What follows are pictures of the unveiling - during late March 2014.

Blanket pulled back...

Ziva chasing the ball gets hot quick with her Winter coat still in place... so she still seeks out what's left of the snow for a quick cool down

Welcome to Spring...

While we know that Mother Nature still has a storm or 3 hidden up her sleeve... Spring has sprung. The songs of birds is in the air, the frogs will be croaking very soon.
